Gearbox Teases that 90% of the Studio Is Working on Borderlands 3

Pitchford mentioned that he knows that many among the audience are at the panel because they’re fans of Borderlands, and they’re anticipating more info about it. To that end, he explained that the studio has about 300 people in its headquarters in Frisco, Texas, another seventy or so in the new studios in Québec City, Canada. Okami HD rated for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Korea

The Korean Game Rating Board has rated Okami HD for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The ratings follow a rumor in mid-August that the high definition remaster, previously released for PlayStation 3, would be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in December.

European retailers list Bayonetta, Vanquish and Shenmue releases for Xbox One and PS4

Shenmue 3’s kickstarter success very well may have been well have been noticed by Sega.

As if there wasn’t already enough smoke around this not yet officially announced fire, a bunch of European retailers have listed a ‘Shenmue 1 & 2 Pack’ for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on their websites over the weekend. They’re not alone, either – the Shenmue rerelease was accompanied by a double pack that includes Bayonetta and Vanquish, something that’d make it one of the best gaming packages going, basically.

The listings first showed up on Czech retailer Alza, as spotted by eagle-eyed fans on gaming mega-forum NeoGAF. Alza’s listing wasn’t alone, and soon both packages showed up on Slovak retailers such as GetGame and Heureka. Some of these listings have since been removed, but others persist and remain up for pre-order.




The Bayonetta and Vanquish pack looks extremely official thanks to the fact that it comes with some convincing-looking box art, while the Shenmue listing was relatively bare. Bayonetta and Vanquish were of course both recently released on PC with FPS-unlocked, max-settings action, allowing the last-generation console exclusives to be run on PC at 60fps in 4K with the right graphics gear. These PC ports would likely be a relatively reasonable candidate for porting to the Xbox One and PS4, both of which have hardware and architecture that fairly closely resembles a PC.

Okami HD announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Following rumors and leaks, Capcom has announced Okami HD for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu. It will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 21 in Japan, and for PC on December 13. In Japan, only the PlayStation 4 version will be available physically.

The new version of Okami HD will support 4K resolution, and will see the return of the loading screen mini-games removed from the Wii and PlayStation 3 versions of Okami. You can also change the screen aspect ratio to 4:3.

PlayStation 4 limited edition – 4,990 yen
Xbox One digital version – 2,780 yen
PC digital version – 2,769 yen
