Parece que The Batman tá sendo reescrito tudo de novo.

Mas isso era óbvio que ia ocorrer.

Matt Reeves certamente quer colocar suas ideias no filme e não apenas filmar um roteiro que ficou pronto antes de sua chegada ao projeto.

Aposto que vai ocorrer a mesma coisa com o filme do Flash, caso contratem um diretor de algum renome. Se contratarem um fantoche, então vai ser mesmo só pra filmar o atual roteiro que está sendo feito do zero.

With Ayer being set to direct Gotham City Sirens next, WB/DC are now searching for a director to serve at the helm of Suicide Squad 2 in Ayer’s place. Oscar-winning director Mel Gibson is the most buzzed-about contenders among the potential Suicide Squad helmsmen , being fresh off directing last year’s Oscar-winning WWII drama/thriller, Hacksaw Ridge. Gibson is far from the only filmmaker in the running for the job though, as yet another contender’s name has now been thrown into the ring.

During this week’s edition of MTMP, seasoned reporter Jeff Sneider named-dropped Jaume-Collet Serra as being another director who is in the mix to direct the Suicide Squad sequel, at the moment. Collet-Serra is perhaps best known for his many B-movie action/thriller collaborations with actor Liam Neeson (see Unknown, Non-Stop and Run All Night), as well as last year’s Blake Lively-headlined suspense/thriller, The Shallows . As noted by Sneider, Collet-Serra was previously attached to helm WB’s stalled Akira anime/manga adaptation and is represented by the same agency as Robbie; meaning he already has an established working relationship with multiple key players on the Suicide Squad franchise.

Sneider, during his MTMP appearance, notes that previously-reported prospective Suicide Squad 2 directors Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies) and Daniel Espinosa (Safe House) are still in the running for the job, while reiterating that Suicide Squad 2 is Gibson’s for the taking , if he wants it. WB and DC have reportedly brought onboard The Legend of Tarzan co-screenwriter Adam Cozad to get the ball rolling on the screenwriting process for the Suicide Squad sequel, but Sneider emphasizes that the studios would – naturally – like to bring a director onboard sooner than later, so they can start offering their creative input on the direction of the film.

One of the last updates received for Green Lantern Corps was news that David Goyer and Justin Rhodes are writing the script . However, it now appears as though Goyer could be in line for an even larger role with the movie. Tracking-Board’s Jeff Sneider said on Meet the Movie Press today that he has heard Goyer “could very well wind up directing Green Lantern Corps himself.” Goyer is an experienced writer and has made the jump to direct before, but this would be a much bigger project than anything he’s done before if he winds up directing.

O próximo trailer de Liga da Justiça pode sair no final de março. Em fevereiro o diretor Zack Snyder havia dito que o vídeo chega "em breve", e dois evento grandes nos EUA estão separando espaços grandes para o filme da DC Comics, de onde pode sair o trailer.

São eles a CinemaCon, que acontece entre 27 e 30 de março, evento para exibidores e licenciadores, e a WonderCon, convenção para fãs. Segundo rumores, a WB quer levar Ben Affleck para o primeiro, para impulsionar o longa junto aos donos de cinemas americanos. Já o segundo tem um painel de filmes WB de uma hora e meia agendado para o dia 1º de abril.
